Finder’s Friend LLC provides structured Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) services that help customers explore ideas, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, identify practical considerations, refine concepts, compare alternatives, and plan reasonable next steps.

Finder’s Friend also develops and provides practical customer services designed to solve specific problems, including the Finder’s Friend® Event Flyer Page Service.

Our role is to help bring clarity, structure, and direction to ideas and customer needs—not to provide formal engineering certification, laboratory testing, or guaranteed implementation outcomes.

Is Finder’s Friend an AI service?
No. Finder’s Friend is a structured Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) service. Modern research, analytical, and digital tools may be used to support the work, but the service itself is centered on human-guided evaluation, concept refinement, development planning, and practical decision support for real-world ideas.
What types of ideas can be submitted?
You may submit a wide range of ideas, including physical products, digital concepts, systems, improvements, inventions, services, and other practical innovations with real-world potential.

Finder’s Friend will review the submission to determine whether it fits the scope of our RDI services and whether we can provide useful evaluation, refinement, planning, or next-step guidance.
Do I need a fully developed idea?
No. Early-stage ideas are welcome. The process is designed to help clarify, evaluate, and strengthen ideas at different stages of development, and to identify practical next steps where appropriate.
Where should I start?
Most customers begin with the Professional Idea Evaluation, which provides a structured review of the idea’s strengths, weaknesses, practical considerations, and possible next steps.
If you already have a more developed concept or have completed prior research or evaluation work, another service level may be appropriate.
If you are unsure where to begin, we recommend starting with the Professional Idea Evaluation to establish a clear foundation for further refinement or development planning.
Do I have to start with the Professional Idea Evaluation?

No. You may begin at any service level that best matches your needs. The Professional Idea Evaluation is recommended for most customers because it provides a structured foundation by identifying an idea’s strengths, weaknesses, practical considerations, and possible next steps.

However, if you already have a more developed concept or prior research, evaluation, or planning work completed, you may choose to begin directly with:

Each service is designed to function independently while also building naturally upon earlier stages when appropriate.

What are the four RDI services?

Finder’s Friend currently offers four structured RDI service levels:

  • Professional Idea Evaluation ($20): Identify your idea’s strengths, weaknesses, practical considerations, and possible next steps.
  • Idea Refinement & Clarification ($45): Improve the clarity, structure, focus, and overall definition of your concept.
  • Development Roadmap ($75): Create a structured plan outlining priorities, milestones, research needs, and recommended development steps.
  • Next-Step Guidance ($95): Receive focused guidance on decisions, priorities, practical considerations, and appropriate next actions.
Do I have to complete all four steps?
No. Each service can be purchased individually. However, the services are designed to build naturally on one another for customers who want a more complete path from evaluation and refinement through development planning and informed decision-making
What happens after I purchase a service?
After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the submission page for your selected service. That page will provide the instructions and form needed to begin.

Once your completed form is submitted, your request enters Finder’s Friend’s structured Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) review process. You will then receive a professional report containing the evaluation findings, practical considerations, and recommended next steps appropriate to the service you selected.
Why do I need to complete a submission form?

The submission form is a required part of the process because it gives Finder’s Friend the information needed to understand your idea, current stage of development, goals, and any relevant background or prior work.

Providing clear and complete information helps ensure that your evaluation, refinement, roadmap, or guidance report is focused, relevant, and useful to your specific situation.

Takes approximately 8–10 minutes to complete.

What will I actually receive?

You will receive a structured, professional report tailored to the service you selected. Depending on the service, your report may include:

  • Strengths, weaknesses, and practical considerations
  • Findings relevant to the selected service

How long does it take to receive my report?
Turnaround time varies by service and depends on the completeness of the information provided. Finder’s Friend will let you know the expected delivery timeframe for your selected service.
Will every idea be recommended for development?
No. Finder’s Friend does not assume that every idea should move forward. Each idea is reviewed for its strengths, weaknesses, practical considerations, and potential next steps.
The purpose of the evaluation is to help you decide whether further research, refinement, development planning, or another course of action appears appropriate.
Do I retain ownership of my idea?
Yes. Submitting an idea to Finder’s Friend does not transfer ownership of the idea to Finder’s Friend LLC.
 You retain ownership of your original idea and materials, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
Finder’s Friend provides evaluation, refinement, development-planning, and guidance services and does not claim ownership of the customer’s submitted idea.
Will Finder’s Friend build my product or invention?
No. Finder’s Friend focuses on structured evaluation, concept refinement, development planning, and next-step guidance.
Our role is to help you better understand your idea and make informed decisions before investing additional time, money, or resources in design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, or implementation.
Is my information kept confidential?

Finder’s Friend handles submitted information with care and uses it only as reasonably necessary to provide the selected service, communicate with the customer, maintain business records, and comply with applicable legal or administrative requirements.

Customers should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, trade-secret, or proprietary information unless it is necessary for the requested service and they are comfortable including it in the review process.
