By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Finder’s Friend LLC provides research, development, innovation, structured analytical evaluation, development planning, and selected online publication services, including the Finder’s Friend® Event Flyer Page Service.

2. Definitions

Company: Finder’s Friend LLC

Orders: A request or purchase for research, development, innovation, structured analytical evaluation, development planning, publication, or other services offered through our website.

Service: Our website and the research, development, innovation, consultation, solution-building, publication, and related services offered by Finder’s Friend LLC.

Event Flyer Page Service: A paid publication service in which Finder’s Friend® reviews customer-supplied event information and a completed event flyer and, if accepted, publishes the flyer online on a public Event Flyer Page and provides the customer with a shareable URL and QR code.

Customer Content: Any flyer, photograph, graphic, logo, trademark, text, event information, link, or other material submitted or provided by a customer for use in connection with a Service.

3. Order Placement and Payment

By submitting a request or placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Services are performed based on the information, materials, descriptions, requirements, and objectives you provide.
  • Depending on the Service purchased, work may involve research, analysis, structured evaluation, concept refinement, development planning, content review, or online publication.
  • Outcomes, deliverables, and processing times may vary depending on the service, scope, completeness of the information provided, and other relevant factors.

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, lawful, and properly authorized information and materials when submitting a request or order.

4. Nature and Limitations of Services

Finder’s Friend LLC provides research, development, innovation, structured analytical evaluation, development planning, and online publication services. Depending on the Service purchased, work may include exploratory, experimental, conceptual, developmental, analytical, or publication-related activities.

You acknowledge that:

  • Results are not guaranteed and may vary.
  • Deliverables may include evaluations, analyses, recommendations, reports, development roadmaps, guidance, digital files, published webpages, shareable links, QR codes, or other service-specific outputs.
  • Research, development, and innovation services are developmental in nature, and outcomes may depend on variables beyond our control.
  • For the Event Flyer Page Service, Finder’s Friend® publishes customer-supplied content but does not organize, sponsor, manage, or control the customer’s event unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Finder’s Friend® does not independently verify every factual statement contained in customer-supplied event materials and is not responsible for changes to event details made by the customer after submission.
  • Final deliverables may not fully meet subjective expectations.

Revisions, modifications, or expedited processing may be available. Extensive or additional work beyond the purchased Service, or requests for completion sooner than the standard 3-business-day processing period, may require additional fees and are subject to Finder’s Friend® approval and availability.

5. Refund Policy & Chargebacks

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Valid refund considerations may include:

  • Technical failure or non-delivery.
  • Unauthorized transactions.
  • Material deviation from agreed scope.
  • Inability of Finder’s Friend® to provide the purchased Service.

Subjective dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund unless the delivered work significantly fails to align with the agreed requirements.

A refund may not be available when:

  • Preparation or publication of the Event Flyer Page has already begun or been substantially completed.
  • The customer cancels after work has begun.
  • Publication cannot proceed because the customer submitted incomplete, inaccurate, unlawful, infringing, or prohibited content and does not provide acceptable replacement material.
  • The customer fails to provide requested corrections, clarification, or required information.
  • The customer changes or cancels the underlying event after Finder’s Friend® has begun or completed the purchased Service.
  • Dissatisfaction is based only on subjective preference where the Service substantially matches the agreed description and submitted materials.

Finder’s Friend® may, at its discretion, offer a correction, replacement publication, service credit, or refund when appropriate.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Finder’s Friend® for resolution may be disputed. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in service termination and possible legal action.

6. Customer Responsibilities & Content Restrictions

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, lawful, complete, and current information.
  • Ensure that your request and submitted materials comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide requested corrections, clarifications, or replacement materials when necessary for us to complete the Service.

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for how any deliverables are used, implemented, distributed, or shared.
  • Finder’s Friend LLC is not liable for misuse or unintended application of deliverables.
  • For the Event Flyer Page Service, you are responsible for the accuracy of event dates, times, locations, contact information, website links, pricing, admission information, and other event details you provide.

You may not use our services to:

  • Develop or promote unlawful, harmful, dangerous, or fraudulent activities.
  • Infringe upon intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
  • Submit deceptive, misleading, defamatory, threatening, hateful, obscene, or otherwise prohibited material.
  • Distribute malicious links, scams, malware, or content intended to harm users or systems.

Customer Content and Publication Authorization: Customers who submit Customer Content represent that they own the submitted content or have obtained all rights, licenses, permissions, releases, and consents necessary to submit the content and authorize its publication.

By submitting Customer Content for the Event Flyer Page Service, the customer grants Finder’s Friend LLC permission to reproduce, format, display, and publish the Customer Content as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased Service, including publication on a publicly accessible Event Flyer Page and creation of a shareable URL and QR code linking to that page.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Customer Content and for ensuring that its submission and publication do not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person or organization.

Customers understand that an Event Flyer Page is publicly accessible and that Customer Content published on the page may be viewed, accessed, copied, linked to, or shared by members of the public.

Finder’s Friend LLC reserves the right to review Customer Content and to decline, suspend, remove, or request correction of content that violates the Event Flyer Content Requirements, these Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property & Use of Deliverables

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers retain ownership of intellectual property rights they already hold in materials, information, photographs, graphics, logos, event flyers, and other content submitted to Finder’s Friend LLC.

By submitting Customer Content, the customer grants Finder’s Friend LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to reproduce, format, resize, display, publish, transmit, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased Service.

For the Event Flyer Page Service, this authorization includes the right to:

  • Publish and display the submitted event flyer and related event information on a publicly accessible Finder’s Friend® Event Flyer Page.
  • Create and provide a public URL and QR code linking to the Event Flyer Page.
  • Make reasonable formatting, sizing, or technical adjustments necessary for proper online display.
  • Maintain temporary administrative, backup, or record copies as reasonably necessary after the public page is removed.
  • Deliverables are provided for your use in accordance with the agreed scope.
  • You are responsible for verifying intellectual property considerations before commercial use.
  • Finder’s Friend LLC retains the right to reuse general methodologies, non-confidential knowledge, and development approaches.

The customer’s authorization to publicly display Event Flyer content continues for the period necessary to provide the purchased Service. Unless otherwise agreed, the public Event Flyer Page will remain available through the event date and for 7 days afterward, after which Finder’s Friend® may remove the public page.

Finder’s Friend LLC retains all rights in its website, trademarks, logos, branding, page layouts, templates, software, processes, methods, tools, and other materials developed independently of Customer Content.

Unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing, purchasing a Service does not transfer ownership of Finder’s Friend LLC intellectual property, website infrastructure, templates, software, or proprietary methods.

Customers may use deliverables provided to them for their intended lawful purposes, subject to these Terms and any service-specific restrictions.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use, implementation, publication, distribution, or sharing of any deliverable does not violate the rights of any third party.

Customer Content: Customer Content remains the property of the customer or its respective owner. Submission of Customer Content to Finder’s Friend LLC does not transfer ownership to Finder’s Friend LLC. The customer grants Finder’s Friend LLC only the limited rights reasonably necessary to provide the purchased Service, as described in these Terms and Conditions.

8. Delivery, Turnaround Time, and Event Page Availability

Estimated delivery timelines vary depending on the Service, project scope, complexity, and completeness of the information or materials provided.

  • Expected delivery timing for research, development, innovation, and other project-based Services will be provided for the selected Service after a complete submission is received.
  • You will be notified of significant delays and provided with updated delivery expectations when appropriate.
  • Requests for expedited processing may be available for an additional fee, subject to Finder’s Friend® approval and availability.

Event Flyer Page Service: Expected delivery is within three (3) business days after payment and receipt of a complete Event Flyer submission. A complete submission includes the required customer information and a usable completed event flyer. Submissions requiring clarification, corrections, replacement content, or additional information may require additional processing time.

Event Flyer Page Availability: An Event Flyer Page is intended to remain publicly available through the final date of the event and for seven (7) calendar days afterward. After that period, Finder’s Friend LLC may remove the page from public view or change its status to non-public.

An Event Flyer Page may be removed earlier if required by these Terms and Conditions, the Event Flyer Content Requirements, applicable law, a valid intellectual-property or privacy complaint, or the rights of others.

Deliverables may be provided electronically, including by email, public webpage, shareable URL, QR code, digital file, or other method appropriate to the purchased Service.

9. Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation of an order by contacting Finder’s Friend LLC as soon as possible. Cancellation eligibility depends on the status of the purchased Service at the time the request is received.

Once work has progressed significantly or deliverables have been provided, cancellation may not be possible.

Event Flyer Page Service Order Cancellation

For the Finder’s Friend® Event Flyer Page Service, cancellation requests are handled according to the amount of work completed at the time the request is received.

  • If cancellation is requested before Finder’s Friend® begins reviewing or preparing the submission, a refund may be available in accordance with the Refund Policy.
  • If Finder’s Friend® has begun reviewing, preparing, formatting, publishing, or testing the Event Flyer Page, a full refund may not be available.
  • If the Event Flyer Page has been substantially completed, published, or delivered, cancellation may no longer be available.
  • Cancellation, postponement, or other changes to the customer’s underlying event do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund if Finder’s Friend® has already begun or completed the purchased publication service.
  • Any refund or partial refund will be determined in accordance with the Refund Policy and the amount of work already performed.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through our Contact Us page or by email to customer-service@findersfriend.com.

10. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Updates

We strive for accuracy in all website content, service descriptions, deliverables, and published materials; however:

  • Errors, omissions, outdated information, or technical issues may occasionally occur.
  • We reserve the right to correct, update, modify, or remove information when necessary.
  • For customer-supplied content, including Event Flyer Page content, customers are responsible for reviewing the information they submit for accuracy before publication.
  • If a customer identifies an error in a published Event Flyer Page, the customer should notify Finder’s Friend® promptly so that reasonable corrections can be made.
  • Corrections resulting from errors introduced by Finder’s Friend® will be made without additional charge. Changes requested because the customer supplied incorrect or revised information may be subject to additional fees.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Finder’s Friend LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our website, Services, deliverables, published materials, links, QR codes, or customer-supplied content.
  • Services and deliverables are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to the specific commitments expressly stated in these Terms and in the applicable service description.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing, using, implementing, distributing, or relying upon deliverables in a lawful and appropriate manner.
  • Finder’s Friend LLC is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unauthorized information supplied by the customer.
  • Finder’s Friend LLC is not responsible for event cancellation, postponement, venue changes, attendance, ticket sales, fundraising results, promotional results, or other outcomes associated with an event published through the Event Flyer Page Service.
  • Finder’s Friend LLC is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party platforms, internet service providers, hosting providers, payment processors, domain services, email providers, QR-code readers, or other systems outside our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finder’s Friend LLC’s total liability arising out of or relating to a specific purchased Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that specific Service.

12. Termination of Service

Finder’s Friend LLC reserves the right to suspend, decline, remove, or terminate access to a Service when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • These Terms and Conditions are violated.
  • Fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity is detected.
  • Required information, materials, approvals, or payments are not provided.
  • Submitted content violates the Event Flyer Content Requirements, applicable law, or the rights of others.
  • Continued performance of the Service would create a legal, technical, security, reputational, or operational concern.
  • A customer misuses Finder’s Friend® services, deliverables, website features, or published materials.

For the Event Flyer Page Service, Finder’s Friend® may suspend or remove a published Event Flyer Page if the content is later found to violate these Terms, applicable law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or other applicable requirements.

Termination, suspension, or removal may occur without refund when the action results from the customer’s violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, prohibited content, fraud, nonpayment, or other circumstances caused by the customer.

If Finder’s Friend LLC terminates a Service for reasons not caused by the customer and the Service has not been substantially completed, any refund will be handled in accordance with the Refund Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Applicable federal laws of the United States shall also apply where required.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, or the Services shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Ventura County, California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
